Big Upcoming Sporting Events with the Best Odds!

18 January 2021

It’s been 6-years in the making and fans of Connor McGregor will be delighted the showdown with Dustin Poirier is almost upon us. The rematch will be the main event of UFC 257 which will air on January 23rd, but what they won’t be delighted with is the price it will cost to tune in! UK viewers can watch the main card on BT Sport Box Office at a one-off fee of £19.95. Can anyone put a stop to McGregor? Another big bout we’re all looking forward to is the clash between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury with promoter Eddie Hearn revealing the contract could be signed within weeks. Rumours revealed Hearn had his eyes on a winter rematch in the capital of Wales – Cardiff, but the British Boxing Board of Control suspended all matches due to Covid. Instead, he’s hoping to seal the fight for “end of May, the start of June”.

A Rewarding Fixture!

The highly-anticipated clash between AJ and The Gypsy King has already seen the pair agree to a 50/50 split, it’s just the finer points of the deal that need to be signed before an actual date can be worked on. “We’re in a good place with Joshua-Fury,” Hearn said. “Talks are progressing, it’s going really well, we’re drafting contracts and I think, really, if someone said to me ‘How long do you think?’ I said in the next four weeks – that’s when the deal will get closed.”

Hearn continued: “We’re in a position now where everything is being finalised in the contractual sense, then we will go to the venues where we’ve had offers and say: OK, now we’re looking to negotiate and finalise that, then we’ll make sure both fighters are happy. But we’re almost at a point now where we can go out to the venues with confidence and say we have a fight. Once we do that we’re in a good place.”
